i need help with configuring my MIDI card in NT or else some suggetions on buying a MIDI card...
will the generic Windows NT MIDI MPU-401 drivers
work with a MPU-401 compatible card?
i have an older Music Quest MIDI (MPU-401) card that i
want to use to interface with a POD-Pro.
no manufacturer NT drivers are available and i've been trying to use the NT generic drivers, but to no avail.
i've set up NT with what i feel is the correct NT generic drivers, but i can't get the POD-Pro software to communicate with the POD-Pro. i'm unable to determine if NT is communicating with my MIDI card.
both the card and drivers are set to:
Port: 330-331
IRQ: 7
i don't care to buy a new MIDI card, but if this card won't work, can i get some recommendations on a good inexpensive MIDI card that will operate in NT.
thanks...
