New to home recording, need help with audio interface hookup

Trying to hook up focusrite 4i4 3rd gen to my sons gaming pc. I just cant figure it out. Its only downloading part of the drivers i believe because it only lists the interface in the device manager in one place , it does not list it under the sound/audio card in the device manager. Have uninstalled and reinstalled many times and just not happening. I think there are some settings in the pc that are not set up correctly ,but im no computer ace. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Mine is 18i8 Gen 3.
The normal pc sounds come out on the interface.
I installed the drivers, and that installs the 'Mix-Control' application on the desktop.
So, I boot up, invoke Mix-Control, then invoke the DAW (Cubase).
First time in Cubase, you set up the audio interface as Focusrite ASIO, and bingo.
I found Focusrite's website help system to be useful. They do email you back with sugestions.
One thing I'd watch is that once the interface has been set up on a particular usb port, it will only work on that same port afterwards.
I connected mine to the fastest usb port.
