Hi there

I have an EMU X Board 49, running through a macbook into Logic via USB.

For some reason it has decided to stop working and I am not sure why.

The Keyboard is illuminated stating that it has power and is on.
The keyboard shows up in Audio Midi setup and is not gray, I think this means it is recognised by the Macbook. However, when I click Test Setup nothing happens.

It doesn't work in Logic, Garageband, Sibelius etc, so I am assuming it is a problem between the Macbook and keyboard not a software issue.

Nothing shows in Logic's in and out display either, so it is not merely a case of the sound not coming through.

Any help/ideas would be much appreciated.

Thankyou

Cal

More often than not, it's the USB chord.
Try different ports, uninstalling (that's not a real word) your drivers and using whichever USB chords you have lying around but more often than not, a new chord will solve your problem.

Thanks for the reply!
I tried a different cord, but still the same problem. I uninstalled the drivers, deleted the Keyboard from Audio MIDI setup, started again, updated to the latest drivers and still no luck!
