midi interface stopped working suddenly on MAC

I have an m-audio midisport 1x1 that suddenly stopped working on my macbook pro. The usb light on it doesn't even light up. It works still works fine on my PC.
Any ideas? I've had this for years with never a problem.

Also, under About this Mac/system report/usb it shows the device but unconfigured like this;

As a matter of fact i also have an m-audio oxygen 8 controller connected that stopped working and it also has an entry as above. Both m-audio devices.
