hi boys...

according to what you say, to record a grand piano is it better to buy a pair of Rode NT1000 or a pair of Audio Technica AT4041 Microphones?

Rode NT1000 hands down, I use them for tons of other things too. Sound great on VOX and drum overheads, unless your set in those departments, but they do sound very nice overhead a piano.

never have used that rode but i own an at4041 and it's great for the dough... and at's quality controll is real tight so they're likely to be pretty well matched...
