Thanks. See, everybody always talks about how 'dark' the 67 is, but I thought it was downright bright to me.

I've got the MXL V57M, I think it's darker than the normal Chinese condenser. Look for that one; they pop up on ebay pretty cheap. I didn't see any active listings today. I have a Studio Projects C1 which is pretty darn bright compared to the V57.
