Hi all!

I'm finally buying the Studio Projects C1, seems to be the best bang for the buck and everyone seems to like it. Now, I need a stand for that microphone. I would like that hanging type of stand (The one that hangs from the ceiling). Anyone know where I should buy that and which one I should buy?

Thanks in advance,
Beathoven

I just got an early christmas present this morning in the mail, actually its a month late. My C1 just came in this morning and right now I have it sitting on top of a boom stand. Its a heavy mic so I don't have the arm out more than a foot for fear it might fall over.

You can get the threaed mounts that are designed to screw down to podiums and depending how hi the celing is you can use the boom off a boom stand or a goose neck. Either way the shock mount should keep the mechanical noise out of the mic.

I spent a few hours messing around with it this morning, time to call up someone who can really sing now.

Yo Beat-Hoven:

Just contact Full Compass, or any other "big' vendor; they do have mic stands up the wazoo.

Happy New Year
Green Hornet:D :D  :p

I found a solution to this problem, I had a bunch of old freeweights sitting around(the cast iron kind). I just dropped a couple around the pipe on my stand.

Or use some gaffertape. Unless you have a wooden floor.
