mic trade advice

I have an opportunity to trade a shure sm 58a for my rode m3. under normal circumstances I would say yes except that I have a pair of m3s a nd I don't really want to split it up for 1 mic because it sucks getting stuck with 1 half of a pair.

The point is, to those of you who own the Beta 58a, is it really such a huge improvement over the old 58? I've already got a few of the standard guys. Do you think I should hold out and move the m3s together, or scoop the Beta and just wait until I find another buyer for the second mic?
 
I'd say keep the pair you'll find another beta 58 soon enough they are like fleas on a hound.
 
Thanks guys. I went ahead and passed on the offer. I was already hesitant on going thru with the deal - I just needed you all to help me be certain that I was making the right choice. :)
