D darnold New member Mar 8, 2005 #2 its a little easier to get a tighter bass response. when all you have are mics with alot of proximity effect or bad low end response then its just plain out better. Its definately tighter sounding so it might be better anyway. But using a good mic, good pres, good room, etc can probably give a more desired effect. Danny
