Happy New Year. This is a song with a great message I am the vocalist and producer also the beatmaker. I appreciate all feedbacks.

The songs okay - I don’t really like the sparse arrangement as written - it sounds like a non piano/keyboard player wrote the parts -
and the words are not buried but hard to understand for me.

I posted the wrong song link but now (I edit and reposted the right link) still I'll like to say Thank you for the feedback Papanate, much appreciated.

I really don't like the doubled vocal. It sounds odd. I'd take just one vocal, thicken it a bit and blend with the bg.

I understand what you are saying. Think I'll go back and do a remix. Thanks and I appreciate your input it means a lot.

Johnnyr mentioned he didn't like the double tracked vocal. The snag is that it's seriously out of tune for the majority of the time - it's OK when it is speaking but as soon as you go for a note, the two unison notes MUST be in tune, or at least very close - sometimes there is a slide into the 'note' and the slide is different on the two tracks so these bits really jump out. I know you want a thinned out sound - but no bass? As in tuned bass or percussive bass? It is very hard to tap your foot to - as the timing is shaky, with some bits early and some late - which gives it an unpolished sound. It sort of feels like you have a number of keys but all are playing to their own version of a click. Are the keys locked to the beats/bars? because they don't sound like it. It has all the ingredients of a decent song, but it doesn't have a groove - it's really loose? If you tell us a bit about how you created it we might be able to suggest a few things. There's mention of loops, but if you brought in loops, could you have accidentally added a loop/beat at Xbpm to a grid set to a different one? That's how it feels.

I like this, the way you have put the words together it reads well to me "It has all the ingredients of a decent song" I read your comment and I do appreciate and are taking the things you have said very serious.

I didn't use any loop for I build the track/beat by myself using FL Studio and my aim was not to use too much bass with the song. The double track vocal yes you're right about the two unison notes. Think I will have to do another remix to get this song to standard. Thanks very much Rod for listening to my song.
