MG 10/2 Mixing Console

I just bought this mixer and a studio condenser mic. I have connected the mic in the first mic joint and I have connected my headphones in phones. The mixer is plugged in.... what else do i do to get the mic to work and the music to play through the headphones?

Yeah I did, the power's on- green lights shinin bright.

it was the phantom button, didn't quite see that there. Lastly, how do i get the music to play into the headphones through the mixer

I dont have a 10/2
But did you adjusted the gain and level pots?
Also I think the headphones level is controled with the controll room pot.
Are your LED meters lighting up?

what about vocals?

I"m using cool edit program. I'm trying to record my vocals, but no wave are forming. What do i do?

you have to make sure your inputs are setup correctly in cool edit....read the manual!
