It's a clean mix, gotta hand it to you.
And AWESOME catches there in the midst of things.
More bass!... ..prticurally, particulally..shit, since your guitars have been cleaned out of any serious bottom, something needs to give more thickness here.. Damn nice playing.

Thanks! :)

When you say more bass, do you mean bring the bass guitar up a tad, or more low end? I struggled to some degree with low end on this one, there seemed to be a bit of a trade off between pushing up the low end and retaining the kick sound, which I'm quite pleased with, so I elected for a little less lows. The fast kicks never seem to lend themselves too well to a lot of bass in my experience. I might tweak the bass a bit and push up the rhythm guitars that I had layered kinda low to give it a bit more beef. Always been wary of too much low end so may have overcompensated a tiny bit.

Very nice. Not a lot of crit that i can think off i liked the bass. For the me the cymbols are up a tad high. It will be decided by the vocal i think, i hope you've got someone/thing fuckin brutal to go over the top of that. It could be awesome. But if someone does an iron maiden over the top, it'd ruin it.

I did notice the crashes sounded a bit loud. I though the bass sounded pretty good though. That is a bad ass track. When do you plan on recording the vocals? I'd love to hear this with some lyrics.

Not too sure about vocals. I tend to write stuff with vocals in mind but rarely record any. I'm never very pleased with my attempts at singing, and can't find anyone interested around my neck of the woods. Although, I've never tried to record anything that involved roaring, screaming or the cookie monster thing, so maybe I'll give it a try.

Oh man, Legion, this is damn good.
That double kick is awesome and the snare rolls too. Love the guitar riffs. Cymbals might be a bit too loud. Love to hear some growls on this one:D
Pure head-bangin' heaven...!!!
Cheers

Im new here so don't yell at me lol. I personally cannot stand inhumanly fast, clean drum machine snare rolls. Instant give away its a machine. The sound quality and mix levels are something I wish I could get though. Super clean sound. Clean guitar playing too.

Dude that's really tight. I agree the bass can come up a little and the cymbals are a little too loud. This aint my style, but I dig it when the guitars and kick rip off some crazy fast shit together. This is a cool song. Resist the temptation to fuck it up with cookie monster growl shit vocals. :D

My only nit with what you got so far is the drum programming. I don't program drums so I don't know how to explain it properly, but the super fast snare fills and blast-beats are too mechanical sounding. The drums sound almost believable until that stuff happens. Cool song though. Sounds good overall.

brutal. i'm totally digging it. can't wait till you get some cookie monster going.

excellent guitar work, both performance and sonics.

my nits have already been covered by others for the most part:

i can't really even hear the bass guitar. i think a tone with some attack and growl to it would be sweet on this.

snare sounds too soft, not just in terms of volume, but tone. it sounds a little too rounded and friendly. i like the snare to punch me in the face.

kick drum sounds a little boomy, especially noticable on the super-fast double rhythms. a/b your mix with "ghost reveries" and i think you'll see what i mean. i'd probably carve out a bit at (around) 100-250 Hz.

please don't be fooled by my "piling on" here--i'm loving it. it's going into rotation.
