Hey guys - I stopped coming here years ago - felt it was more important to work on writing and recording then getting the ol' GAS syndrome again - in the end I used my home studio to record multiple takes/demos, but ended up recording an album in another studio (albeit, a well designed and professional looking home studio in a basement) -
the final result is done - I have some samples up at my myspace page and if you dig those, there is a link there you can follow to purchase the album should you wish.
I really tired the home recording route, but at the end of the day, gave it up for a songwriter's studio and decided to be a musician first and an engineer second, and I'm very glad for the time I spent playing with toys -
now I MAY get a protools LE so I can do overdubs outside the main studio next time, but one album at a time -
