Mastering previews came back

Here are some of the samples the guy I have mastering my stuff is sending back. I have no basis of comparison, but it sounds ok to me. He's only asking $32.00 USD per song. Maybe someone could comment if I'm on the right track

BTW - I've only been home recording since the 1st part of Feb this year. Still watching lot's of youtube video figuring everything out - bought Studio One 2 Pro.

I thought flo was too loud for the style, but like the other 2 tracks, you don't want ambient or chilled out music that loud, unfortunately it makes me want to turn it down not up.

I'm going with "yeah, they seem pretty squashed" -- That said -- It's nearly impossible to tell if the mastering is on the right track without being able to compare it to the original mix.

If you've only been recording for 6 weeks, you're not ready to have your mixes mastered. Post your mixes in the MP3 LCinic here, for starters.
