OK!!! I am a complete newbie. This is my first project ever. I started out for fun and gave my first beat to a friend that has an awesome voice. He encouraged me and we recorded my first song with my Sound Blaster card and a computer mic. We then changed the mic to Shure SM57 and SM58 and now using a Roland VM3100Pro with an R-BUS card. I thought it was the bomb. Then someone else thought I had something going for myself so he asked me to make him a cd. He got me an AKG C4000b. After a year and a half of all this, I have done my first cd. It's not all that but everyone that hears it loves it. I released it locally and I have sold about 100 in 3 weeks. I believe it can be improved alot if an ME would fixed it up.
Could anyone assist me with my project? It is a Latin Salsa/Reggae with some R&B and slow ballads. I have 9 tracks total of about 43 minutes and two are the same (remix and original). Could someone that knows how to master give me a quote? like Blue Bear??? Again, I am as amateur as can get. Maybe someone would like to try one of my songs to see if it even can be done?!? Please, any help would be apreciated.
