my brother just got me this pedal for my birthday, and honestly, i LOVE it....it sounds great, and i love hte "deep" feature like on the JCM2000...i definitly reccomend it if ya don't have the means to get a nice full stack!

Bought one of these 8 years ago when they came out...... hated it!!! Put it in a box for a few years, played with it about 6 months ago and totally dug it. Almost too dark on my LP, but kills with my Tele. Are these still in production?

yup its called the Guvnor Plus or something, they stopped making it like 2-3 years ago i remember, then re-released it so i finally got one. i really enjoy it wiht both humbuckers and single coils, its versatile!

I've got my original 'made in England' Guv'nor from what?,... about 17-18 years ago? http://www.blamepro.com/marguvnr.htm God, time is flying by! Anyway, it is a cool pedal and actually works best as a pre-amp, signal boost, additional crunch tone kind of thing placed in front of a good tube amp. I think I'm gonna go break mine out and play with some tones. Haven't even touched it in at least 10 years. Wow I'm getting old....
