A guy who used to do production at a radio station I worked at in MI did several spots for Young & Rubican for Ford commercials. A lot of them were done from his home. Think about it for a second, Einstein.

Yeah, it does happen sometimes... verrry rare. ISDN has made it easier. But it's such a tiny percentage. To say 'half' is ridiculous.
Many, many regional spots are done in home studios. I've done stuff for 'Peppers' furniture in Chicago, for example.
But I shouldn't have been so rude. Sorry, 'Chessrock'.... it was uncalled for. I apologize.
I used to do lots of crappy cable tv commercials in Michigan....
Holland, Manistee... I don't remember any other towns.
They always had 'M' something for the highway routes.... that's how I found out they were for MI.

No problem, Crinz.

I agree that half is probably an exaggeration. I do know it's being done, though, because I know guys that have done it and are still doing it. Some of them are even expensing the studio time. I didn't say that.
