Marshall AVT 50 Problems

I just bought a Marshall AVT 50 and the sound randomly fades away after playing for 2 min and won't go back on for another 10. What's wrong with this piece of shit? The CD input works fine, but neither the clean nor the overdrive channels work.

Went back to GC and exchanged the piece of junk for a working one.
