So you guys don't think that it was purposefully used to get that effect? The dude has a good voice...I personally think they may have overused it on purpose for that specific "electronic" sound.

well that's an effect that you either do or don't do. you don't just do it on random parts of a word radomly throughout a song......well you don't do it on purpose at least.

Why? I thought this was making music...one of the most creative things in the world to do.
 
well. there's a difference between creativity and sitting around getting stoned with your friends giggling about how funny it is that you did the "peter frampton effect" on one part of one word in the song you just recorded in your garage.
