Sure we are all here to learn about and share recording techniques yet 99.9999999999% of us are musicians so the question here is *What is your main instrument?*

hmm i've been playing guitar the longest, but i don't really consider myself a "guitar guy".
i'm more into arrangements. does the inside of my head count as an instrument?

Depends ..... do you strum it or whack it with a mallet?

Bass guitar is my main instrument but though I sometimes say I'm a bass player, to be honest, I've stopped thinking in those terms because putting songs together is what I've always really been about and instruments are my means to that end.

I have to agree with grimtraveller and fat_fleet. While my username might make it clear that I play guitar, I would really rather be known as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, or producer.

Kinda hard to say. Been singing (and I do not mean in the shower or to the steering wheel) since I was 8, and playing guitar since I was 10. However, I have only been blowing harmonica for about 6 years, and while my guitar playing is okay, my harp playing makes people sit up and take notice.

Bass and drums here. I also play a mean triangle too.

Keyboard, can make midi, piano, violin, flute, guitar, that's why I'm too lazy to learn other instruments than Keyboard.

I'm really sorry, if I have to reply once more, I need five or more post to start posting photos, wish there's no limitation, cause I have some question to ask.

Just ask the question...why do you need to post a photo?

I've been playing guitar the longest (hence the username...lol), but I've never really pursued it hardcore like some. Sure I can do a lot of riffs/solos, but it doesn't bring me a ton of joy to play it, so I rarely practice it anymore. The drums are by far the most fun for me to play! Needing that internal clock is great because it's basically a whole different skill set that is required to play! Plus it ain't a bad workout ;)

All in all though, I love creating songs the best. Therefore, it's pretty hard for me to pick my "prime" instrument, because I tend to just see them all as pieces to the puzzle!

My main instrument is guitar and I love playing it. I’ve been playing it for about 1 year now. I also play piano but at a basic level.

I started out as a guitarist before learning to play the bass guitar(without a pick!) and more recently the drums, which I find to be the most enjoyable. I've also spent years in various choirs.

Used to play guitar and clarinet (not at the same time) but severe carpal tunnel syndrome has pretty well put a stop to that. Now I compose and arrange using Harmony Assistant with the Gold soundbase. I export each track/instrument as a separate wav file which I then insert into Reaper for mixing and mastering.
