Mackie HR824, speaker stands? :::

Does anyone know of any good looking stands for the HR824?

I don't want to set them on my desk, trying to prevent any un-necessary rattling.........

preferably a silver/white color, black will do also............?

what color is "pewter"? are they adjustable [it doesn't mention it?]?

any others? :)
 
Pewter is an alloyed mixture of tin and copper (and sometimes other metals ...)

The color usually looks like some darker metal with a silvery shine. Hope that helps.

What do you think of your mackies? Are they great? Are they worth the money? Or is it worth it to spend 200 less and get the 624's?
 
i've heard the 824s........i like them a lot............

imo: i'd rather save up to get the 824's.......... :)
