Can someone help me with troubleshooting my mbox audio processor.I am running protools 7.4 le and every time I record into an audio track or something the signal stays flat, I hope the mbox is not gone bad but I am worried that it might be! Maybe I am just recording inappropriately with the levels or the channels or something like that any advice into this situation would be great... Thank You. Vesartyle

p.s. I am recording into Instrument or Audio tracks and my audio refions do not show for some reason!!!!!! All I get is a flat signal every time I check the routing sources i get the same results...

1: Use an audio track. Instrument tracks are for midi+vsts.
2: Go to setup > IO > input tab. Delete all paths and then click 'default'.
3: Return to your audio track and select the microphone preamp as the input source.
4: Record arm the track and test for signal.
5: If no signal, toggle "input only monitoring" and try again.

Have you checked the obvious? Tried a new cable? Tried a different mic? Turned on phantom power? Checked with an instrument instead of microphone?

Did it ever work?
