You will need to install the Digidesign ASIO Driver

you also need to tell those programs to use the Digi ASIO driver

To get the media player to use it, you have to set that driver as the default device in the soundcards control panel widget.

alright i got everything working good...but im still having a latency problem...the M Box 2 specs say its Zero Latency monitoring an people on here told me theres a latency monitoring option thing in PT but i cant find it...can someone please tell me where it is an what to do???

Have you opened the user manual yet? Sorry to sound like a dick, but I know for a fact that all of the stuff you've been asking is in it...

Yeah someone needs to read the fucking manual. To get low latency go to setups, choose playback engine and set the buffer to 128.

1) RTFM (read the fucking manual!)
2) read the responses people post!! here's what i posted over a week ago:

Turn down the hardware buffer size down to 128 samples or 256 samples, dependin on what you're computer can handle. you'll probably find that once you start mixing, PT wil require you to increase the buffer size. But for recording, get it as low as possible.


Also, the "mix" knob on your M-box lets you select how much of the microphone input and how much of the PT output you're hearing, so if you set it mostly to the mic you'll lessen the latency problem.

alright i got all that....but when now when i record...i record on a track..then i try to do doubles..so i make another track....an try to record...but it wont record anything?
