M-Audio SP8 $299

Not sure if it's a misprint or not, but I just picked up a pair of these at MusiciansFriend. The Ad is on the front page of the site. If you click on it, it will read $479 (the normal price). But I called and sold them for $299.

I threw in the DMP-3 to get the price back to $499, to qulify for for 6 months same as cash. That's not important though, the $299 is.

i've heard that these were pretty good, what do you think about em?
 
I like mine so far. Kind of a pain to have to adjust the volume of each separately. And there are no bells and whistles. Just volume control and inputs. Although I don't have any reference point of comparison to other speakers, these things sound TIGHT for the money. I run mine at about a quarter volume and they are plenty loud. And they are CHEAP. Like me.
 
I'm very happy with mine. They killed everything else in the store at or near their price point.
