M audio profire 2626

I am saving to buy the m audio profire 2626 interface, The fact that it has 8 mic pres and can record at high definition has caught my attention since this may be the cheapest hd interface. I am stilling researching on it but I want any useful information I can get from persons who have listened to recording done with it or persons who have some knowledge about it. Thakns much!

I've got one on loan right now and I'm using it as a set of Preamps>Adat into my 003. It's worth it for that alone, AND you get a firewire interface on top

O cool. I really want to know if its a good overall audio interface. I am really interested in recording live bands as well a vocals, is this the right choice for me? Do the preamps work good on vocals? What about the latency?
