m-audio firewire 410 vs presonus firebox?

Hey folks,

I'm looking to upgrade from my audiophile 2496 / behringer mixer setup.

I don't need more than 4 inputs, but I do need to go to a balanced setup, since I suffer from alot of RFI in my project studio...and I need to take steps to battle it.

I've been considering the following as potential 'upgrades' (granted, not much of an upgrade, but it's more than I ever need):

Presonus Firebox
M-Audio Firewire 410
used M-Audio omnistudio


My big concern is that I've never used presonus gear ever....I'm happy with m-audio stuff....but considering the going deals on ebay, the firebox is a spectacular option.

How's the presonus pre's? Does anyone have any problems with the firebox?

i like firebox pres, but i never use 410 so don't take my words for it...what i do know is that firebox has a stable driver as well and i think you can get 2 more inputs with it...

I will go with firebox, I used it for a month no problem at all and sound is very good.
