Reel deep thoughts...
Can anybody with a Tascam M-520 measure the side trim panels as well as the trim caps on the ends of the meter bridge? I need exact dimensions...I'm making a set of trim panels out of walnut for a friend and I forgot to measure the panels on my M-520 befre I sold it...DOH!

I can measure mine tonight and post them tomorrow. I don't have a computer at home right now.

Man! Your house must be, like, a SERIOUS digital-free zone...you don't even have a computer there! :D A TRUE ANALOG STALWART!!

Thanks so much for your willingess to take the time. I appreciate it! :)

I have a report from Fort Analog, California! (:p)

There's two pairs of panels. One pair goes on either end of the meter bridge, and the other, of course, goes on either side of the mixer chassis.

The panels on the meter bridge are 2-3/4" H x 3-3/4" W x 13/16" D (or just a hair over 3/4")

The panels on the mixer chassis are 2-3/4" H x 31-3/8" W x 13/16" D (or just over 3/4" like above)

Awesome!

Thanks lo.fi!

Those dimensions indeed look familiar now that I see them. I remember measuring the panels a long time ago but my notes are long-gone, and now so is the mixer. :D

Thank you!
