Loud Pop!

Ok this is rediculous! I just once again turned off my monitors, and once again a loud POP came out of the left one. It scares the shit out of me and doesn't sound like it's doin the speaker any good. I need help! All I wanna do is turn off my lousy monitors.

Do you, by any chance, have Events? I have the powered 5.25's (can't remember the model) and they've always done it. I asked around the "other" board and even wrote to Event tech support, and everyone keeps telling me it's fine.

Don't know if that helps, but they've been doing it for a year now and haven't blown up yet.
