Here are the pedals I'm considering now.
Pedals I'm considering buying
DOD FX22 VibroThang Vibrato Pedal
Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor Pedal
MXR M-101 Phase 90 Pedal
Marshall ED-1 Edward Compressor Pedal
Marshall GV-2 Guv'nor Plus Effects Pedal
BBE Sonic Stomp Pedal
Pedals I already have
DOD YJM308 Yngwie J Malmsteen Signature Overdrive Pedal
Ibanez DE7 Delay/Echo Pedal

Any comments on what I should change? or anything else I should get?

I'm still looking for a chorus pedal, I finally decided that voodoo lab was just too much money for me. Any other suggestions?

And one last thing. Anyone know anything about the Marshall Pedals? I've heard some good things, and also Marshall seems trustworthy to me.
Thanks!

My suggestion would be an EQ pedal of some kind (I know, I know, boring as hell, but really useful - Danelectro make a 7 band one that is only around 30 dollars, its pretty good), and also a Boss Tremelo pedal - they kick ass.

That compressor by Marshall is one of the fattest, sweetest I've heard in a while. $ well spent. Compares to comps with 3 times the price tag, the Guv'nor is okay but a little over the top and not very tweakable

Get a nice Chorus and a better delay, maybe a Boss DD 5 or as high up as you can afford
What rig are you running?

Well, rig. Alright, here's my answer to what I think you're asking, ha.

I have an esp ltd with replaced pickups, a gibson p94R and a Seymour Duncan custom 5 or something like that. And right now I go through my Ibanez delay pedal, which works decent, then into my Overdrive pedal and then to my line 6 spider II 210(I hate this amp, but don't have enough money for an upgrade, so I make do)

There's my rig. And yeah, I'm looking for a nice chorus, and I'll work with what I have right now for delay.

Save the pedal $ and get an amp!
I've thought about it, but in the end decided against it...But thanks for the idea :D

I used to be die hard against effects until I heard good effects. A good delay and chorus are nice things to have. I have neither at the moment. I'm still die hard against shitty pedals.

Is a boss dd-3 considered a good delay?

I know boss has some good delays but I don't know anything about which specific models are good. I'm no help. :p

It's a nice delay but it does have a bit of a footprint. It tends to pull out some low end, lotta tweakability though and if you use delay all the time you can compensate for the bass thing.

This guy, on the other hand, is pretty amazing in that it has a bunch of different delays and you can motor between your own presets at the tounh of the pedal. Very little change in your sound other than whatever amount of delay you use

cool, what are your thoughts on a distortion? My amp is an 18 watt clone, and it has been modded with a master volume to give it more crunch, but it doesn't have as much as i'd like.

does the 808 take you into the insane harmonic region?

My next investment is in some pedals...I want some things that make some crazy ass sounds...Definitely a phaser, flange, chorus, tremelo, and such.....so....anyone have any good ones to look into? I just want some things to mess around with...I don't need anything that amazing for most of those except the phaser. I want a nice phaser...

Anyone know of any other pedals that are fun? And anyone know of some good brands that aren't too expensive?

Thanks!!

A Boss Octaver is really cool - big fat single note sounds - not for chords

If you're looking for something a little weird, there's the BOSS Bass Synthesizer pedals. I think the model out now is SYB-5, but I got the SYB-3 back in 99 or 00.

With the SYB-3 2 of the settings are envelope filter/autowah (up & down), 2 more are kinda weird sythy-sounding envelope filters (like the solo from Ween's "Johnny On The Spot" or the heavier riffs on Radioheads "Paranoid Android"). The other settings are all monophonic synth sounds generated by the pedal itself from the note it "detects" from your guitar signal, so you can do shit like put a tremolo pedal in front of it set to be really choppy, then hold down a chord on the guitar, and it'll basically do a random-note selected arppegiator-sounding thing.

It also was meant for bass, not guitar, so when you start playing really high up it has trouble detecting the frequency and will to some weird random stuff. Not the greatest tool for strictly-defined pop tunes, but if you're just going for something kinda out-there sounding it's pretty neat.
