i need a down south or universal beat that when it comes on in the club heads have to stop and listen to what's being said. it has to make you wanna move. i need these beats to fit the songs that i have posted on the net. i make my own beats but i'm humble and i know i need hotter heat. check the songs out at the link below and if you know your beats are what i need, post a link and let me hear it. i'm in school right now so i can't afford any high ass prices but, i do believe in if you scratch my back i'll scratch yours. when,( fu&* if ), i blow i'll remember who helped me. holla back.

I critiqued your songs in another post, & I mentioned that I though you needed to expand your vocabulary.

Where are you getting your beats from? How are you sequencing them?

Finally, are you now, or have you ever been a Percussionist? Because if not, you should take lessons. No matter what you take, and even if you don't ever become that good, you'd be amazed at how slick your programming can become if you have just a little outside vocabulary to draw on. & you can mess with stuff and throw all kinds of unexpected stuff in if you have that higher level of control and knowledge.

i get my sounds from mainly from fruity loop samples or samples of an instrument from a song, and i sequence them in fruity loops. i would like to take some music lessons, and learn to play the piano. i am no percussionist, and you are right my musical expression is limited, i don't really have any motivation to become a producer, but it's a necessary evil for me to save some money during my trek to the top.

i do realize that i need some outside help, and influences. i have a lot of buddies that are into music but they seldomnely put in work. i lock myself up every day and try and hone my skills. i put together a little home studio on my own andi taught myself how to use a lot of these recording softwares. i just wish that i was in the physical company of heads that are just as hungry as i am.

I dig it man. I'm in the same damn boat as well..........people be flakin' around my area and it leaves me to do it all on my own (except when I can get my stoner roommate off the couch to drop a rhyme or sumthin')

you have talent. i'm just looking for a beat that will compliment my style and push me to write a hit. i'm pretty sure that the next rapper with thier own unique style may hear your beat and be like whoa, i need that, and sell 10,000 units out of the trunk. i'll keep checking you out

what took you so long maaaaan. i just ordered the triton. i wasn't getttin the feedback that i thought i would get, so i said bump, i'll continue to try and do it myself. i just invested the money in one like 8 hours ago. that joint you have is blazing, but i can't afford to buy it right now. i was just logging on tell notify everyone that i decided to get the triton due to the lack of responces. my jaw just dropped when it came on. that is the type of heat i was looking for.

i had a decision to make. either take some money and buy some bangers, make a 10 song cd sell it (now), or take the money buy an mpc or triton (learn) how to make some bangers (no telling how long it will take) and sell it later. i got pretty impatient, i thought that my thread would have been flooded with posts, for me to shop for some beats. if that beat doesn't sell, i am interested in getting it when i reup on my money.

I don't think you made it clear you wanted to drop loot on it. Might be why you didn't get the responce you needed...

I had been putting off posting this cuz my file wasn't loading right. That was about a day... Dah well...

For real though... I got loads of tracks like that. Keep saying i'ma shop em out but just don't ever do it. Guess it's about time though...

that was some nice beats

when i was listening to those beats i was thinking damn, this sounds like something nocturnal from the west coast can rip. when i came back to the thread to post, i looked at your location, and it read cali, and i thought that was really tight. those beats are not my style to flow over but i can imagine enjoying someone else rocking em. i'll keep my ear out for you. thanks for showing some love.

thanks, me and a partner snatched it off of ebay. it should be here in a couple of weeks at the most. he is the cat that did the first verse on the hit em song featured on my nowhere page. this cat is from chicago, and he's tight.
