Sample of a vocal isolated from a karaoke track by aligning with the original track and phase inverting, the goal being to tweak it and sit it back into a mix with a clean version of the same karaoke track. Re-tracking not an option. There's a little of the high end from the track left in the vocal since while it's the same track they've been through conversion to .wav from an .flv file so they're not sample identical.
The only thing that's been done is applying a volume envelope to try and tame some of the bigger spikes/resonances - obviously there's a lot more to be done to it.
Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
