Looking for material to mix

Im still semi new to mixing and using DAWs and was wondering if there was a place to download music to mix for the fun of it and practice. Is there any place that people post all their premixed tracks. And what do you call the tracks before you mix them? I think Ive heard a name for them and just cant remember :P
 
There's not a dedicated place for downloading music to mix no but, there is currently a thread running in the 'mp3 mixing clinic' which should be exactly what you're after. Here's a direct link to that thread:-
