Looking for good starter book on mixing

I'm just getting started with recording (4 part harmony vocals, aka Barbershop). I've got my first raw tracks and am ready to start mixing, except I have no idea where to start. Is there a good book on getting started with mixing? I'd appreciate a recomendation.

I'm using a new high end laptop, a Tascam US-800, and the Cubase LE5 that came with the interface.

the mixing engineers hand book by Bobby Owinksi. I read the hell out of it, and still find myself picking it up. lots of good stuff in there for everybody at any skill level... I also just started reading the book mentioned above, mixing concepts.. One more cool one i think this one is a little older, its called The art of Mixing by David Gibson. It relates a lot of material visually with elaborate visual illustrations... By the way, I bought The mixing engineers handbook... at 40 bucks new, (which is a good price) it is still pricey... the other books... I may or may not have illegally downloaded the other books... I'm not telling. Just trying to plant seeds....
 
+1 for The Mixing Engineers Handbook. I reference back to that book just about every time I mix. However, my mixes still suck, but I'm pretty sure that's not the books fault.:rolleyes::D

Turns out those videos are DVD-ROM, not regular video DVDs. I'm not going to buy a drive for my old computer, which is on its last leg. I guess I'll get the Handbook instead.
