Looking for good head....under 450, doesn't need to be tube

Slowing becoming un-noob.
Friend looking for a nice low priced head...(doesn't need to be tube)

My friend recently was pissed off at the line 6 head he had and he sold it. He is now in need of a head.
He's looking for nothing much, just something with a clean channel and an overdrive channel that sounds Good and Natural

So basically...Good Overdrive, doesn't need to be tube, and 450 bucks at the VERY VERY Most!

We have this place in Houston called "The rose garden"... I suggest it to anyone visiting who likes asian virginas... Don't even have to ask if they accept tips or anything! :D Of course, I haven't ever been there, just heard the stories... With my luck, it would get raided before I even got to... :eek:
 
Is it really? i was gonna buy it to have another amp head in my studio.
