Hello from the Middle East!
I am looking to buy an entry-level, laptop-based recording system when I return from my current deployment. I don't get to a computer every day, but I'd like some feedback on what I'm planning to buy. Here's what I'm looking at:
-Apple MacBook (with 2.1GHz Intel Duo Core processor, 1.5 GB RAM, 120GB/5400 RPM Hard Drive, and SuperDrive)
-Mark of the Unicorn 8PRE 16x12 FireWire Audio Interface
-Cubase SE (already own this, am familiar with it, and like it a lot)
Please give me some feedback on any of these items or any of these items together. Any comments, suggestions, etc. is appreciated.
Lost in the Middle East,
Metal Marc
P.S. I'm posting this for Marc because he's having a bit of problem posting...but he can read replies so please post answers here. Thanks!
