Looking for basic 4 track recording equiptment.

Hey everybody,
I'm new to all this recording stuff. I've been playing guitar for three years and I'm gettin into writing my own music. I really want to record some of it, so my guitar teacher reccomended I get a basic 4 track. I did some research and found that the Digitech RPx400 looks great. I was just wondering if anyone has used this peice of equiptment and what they've thought. So far I've heard great things about it, but I want to know from some actual other musicians/recording technicians. Thanks for any replies.

i dont have it or never used it but ive seen that brand alot of times on here, so it must be good, its worth a try unless u have a good computer yo can always buy the delta 44 and a cheap mixer, i have that and it works great for recording but yeah u need a good computer to use it...i would say try that 4 track out or buy the delta 44 sound card...i dunno all i know is that the delta 44 kicks ass!!! it runs about 150
