Hey Everyone!

I am a straight up noob but I have been obsessed for the pass months trying to upgrade my audio setup for vocal recordings. Just to give more info on what I use my equipment for: Voice over, Podcasts, and Videos. I had a Blu Yeti before, now I bought a AT2035 and a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. It was a noticeable difference in audio quality for sure but want to EQ/compress before it got to the PC so I started researching again. I noticed a HUGE difference in audio quality with voice processors, found someone using Symetrix 528e and it sounds like what im looking for (warm radio voice effect).

So the question is, is it worth getting a Symetrix 528(no E) or is there other options?
And what exactly is a Voice Processor?

In my research I found a mixer Yamaha MG102C and TC-Helicon VoiceWorks Vocal Effects Processors (cant post URLs yet because I need 10 posts sorry)

Thank you for your help!
