Looking for a trumpet player

He I suck at the trumpet and on top of that I lent my trumpet to my nephew and it came back with a tiny mouthpiece that I just cant play with.
If some one has the time and could record 1 pass on this song, that would give me enough to make a 5 or 6 part horn section out of.

This was recorded at 105bpm. All I would need is just the horn track back and I will slice and dice.

I know it's asking alot but, you can hear from this I need help.

The tune is in it's infancy so it's missing alot and is not mixed. Good enough to play next to though I think.

Bump it up.

If someone wants to lay down other Ideas with brass that's cool. Just make sure you repeat it enogh times so I can build a section out of it.

Just had nasal surgery, and am out for two weeks. Be glad to do it after that.

You too! I just had it a little over a month ago. Fun Fun Fun! I was not expecting how bad it was. Hope yours went easier. I may have to do it again. I have exposed cartlidge in my nose now:eek:

Anyways Follow Dr.'s orders. If I haven't got a mouth piece by then I'll take you up on it.

Can you make 2 tracks available? One with the horns, ones with everything else?

I just started playing again yesterday, so I can take a shot at this this weekend.

sure. I only have what you have heard. I will subtract the horns and put it on my server. I am waiting to get the horns in so I can work on the bass.
My horn was not good enough to get groovy with;) I still got to get to longview or portland and pick up a new mouth piece.

By the way what size mouth piece do you use? I can't remember what the one on it was. I will likely get one size larger than a normal adult mouth piece as I have some BIG lips:D

Anyway. I will get that file up tonight or tomorrow morning. Feel free to do a track or two of messing around too. I am writing this one as I go so who knows where (if) it will go. I am going to look for a bridge as I go along but I don't know if there will be a key change or not.

Anyways, lay down a solo if you like and I will try to use it.

It just hit me that you want the horns on a track all by them selves & the guitar and temp drums on another track, right? Makes more sense:o

Yeah, I want the ability to tur4n the horns down, but still want them for reference :D

2 mp3s are fine.


the mouthpiece I use depends on what i am doing:
Warburton 8SV, Q backbore for lead/commercial
Warburton 8M, Q backbore for jazz
Warburton 8D for really mellow work.

These are approiimate to a Bach 10 1/2 C. the 8SV is a shallow cup. The 8M is a medium depth cup, and the 8D is a deep cup.

What the heck do you have to go to Portland to get a MP for?

Thanks for the info. As for having to go to portland. I live in a pretty small town with no music store at all.

There used to be a couple years ago but both went under. I think the town is larg enough now to support one but, with how competative things have gotten in that bussiness it's hard to say if it's worth it or not to run a small store.
