Hey everyone,

Anyone know of a retailer selling the Boss TU-2 tuner for less than $85? I'm looking for a place so that I can bring down the price at a local Guitar Center. Any help would be much appreciated.

See ya,

Nolan

You just have to learn how to wheel-n-deal. Guitar Center always gives me a discount base on the sheer volume of useless crap I have bought from them. I have 3 GCs in my area. Each one has people who will cut me deals because they know that even though they don't get as much commission off one purchase, the overall furture purchases I will make will be to them.

that's my other option, but it'd be so much easier to have something to work with, because I have only bought things over time, not a significant amount that I can bring the price down based on just loyalty.

Anyone else know of a lower pricing store?

yea, but I don't think e-bay prices hold up against Guitar Center......I think it has to be more of a company selling merchandise type deal.......I just caved in and paid the ridicilous amount of money........BUT I LOVE IT.

I've found ebay prices to be considerably favorable to guitar center, but I suppose it is dependent on other factors such as your tolerance for how "used" the item is...the market for the particular item, etc...

me? I'm broke and payin for college. ebay takes the cake.

If its such a ridiculess amount of money, why did you get it? There are a million other tuners out there.

I got the Peterson Virtual Strobe tuner about 6 months ago. Its takes some getting used to, but it is the most acuate thing I have ever used. Worth every penny.

Well first off......I don't regret spending the money at all. I had planned on using the gift certificates I got for christmas on this, so it's been in the plans for a while. Also, I'll be using it to power other pedals that I have.

My only regret is not being able to find a store selling it for like $60-$70 so that I could bring it down at Guitar Center. I've tried multiple tuners, but the TU-2 destroyed anything I came across for live needs.
