Stealthtech...

No prob man...

A word to the wise however...

The Logic boards are geared more towards experienced users... so do some basic searches before you post.

...and try not to piss anyone off! ;) There are a handful of folks over there who can answer complex application as well as (thoughtful) newbie questions...

If you give them a well thought out question and be patient you will get an answer.

I would avoid the "this program sucks" and "why won't anyone help me in less than a day?" posts... ;)

Like I said - the few really do help the many over there. It's going to take me awhile to REALLY contribute on that forum... :)

See ya over there!

I hear that.....Well I've been using Logic about 4 yrs. now, so I dont think I will have any newbie questions, but its nice to know I can go their for some help if I need it, and to browse thru the posts and maybe pick up something I did'nt know. Thx again

Just re-opening old wounds.

COME ON GUYS!!!!!

It ain't over yet?

I don't hear no fat lady!!!

where is the Logic forum???

with the amount of established producers that do use the product from all musical genres it's a shame to come across such ignorance from the administrators of this site.

what was once a simple request has now come to this all because of plain ignorance...i'll not comment on it further...but i'll not post again til a Logic forum appears...and by then i would have all the info i need anyhow from www.audioforums.com and www.sospubs.co.uk respectively.

Amen!

I am not going to go so far as to slam this site. I think this site is the best on the web for stuff like this. But the lack of a Logic Audio Forum does just show the limited scope of this site. I mean, JESUS there is an "analog only" forum where less than 10 posts per day take place. Whereas a Logic Audio Forum is guaranteed to bring in at least 50-75 posts per day.

Who knows... Maybe the administrator is just being a prick!

Cheers Dragon! :D

Hello Logic users! - Has anyone taken up the Emagic "switch and save" deal and bought a G4? If so, how are you making out with the OS 10.2 operating system? I have recently switched to a Mac and was rudely supprised how different it was to navigate compared with Windows XP but now am reasonably comfortable with it. I like to use the keyboard instead of mouse as much as possible because key strokes can be quicker and put less RSI strain on the body. In this regard I think Windows is excellent and OS 10.2 not quite as good and the OS 10.2 Help is not as "helpful" as Windows. Anyway I'm sure there are lots of good points about OS 10.2 I have not discovered yet. I do like the ability to zoom in and out with the Command + or - and Alt + or - keys for example which may sound like a minor feature but I think these small things can make life so much easier when you need them.

Has anyone switched over to Cubase SX? I must say this was a huge temptation for me - it would have made life so much easier to stay with a Windows XP system, especially when I really like XP. I tried using the SX demo version which seemed great but didn't get terribly far with it not having a Save function but it seemed from my cursory inspection just not as carefully thought out as Logic so I took the plunge to buy a Mac and hope it was the right decision. I'd like to look at Cubase again sometime though as I only scratched it's surface I think. Does anyone have any experiences switching from Logic to Cubase they'd like to share?

hate friggin emagic stuff, but voted YES, I dont see why you shouldnt have your forum if I got mine ( sonic foundry )

Boy... this idea just will not die. I LOVE IT!!!!!

FORUM FORUM FORUM FORUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Yahoo! Logic group is the best one I've come across. But there is so much going on there, it's hard to keep up with all the new posts.

I think it is a good idea having LOGIC forum as one more alternative!

Showing my arm pits for this!

This thread is over 2 years old now and it still comes back and back and back. It is like genital worts, zombies, and a guilty conscious whispering in the moderators ear... "Enough people think that it is bullshit that you have a Cubase forum but no logic forum...."

People in power should listen to their constituancy...

I thought the latest mac version is v.6? For pc its 5.5. But you're right, tubedude, previous Logic versions don't differ much, so a forum could serve all Logic users.

I suggested a dedicated Logic forum many times and can't understand why they are ignoring one of the most widely used audio software package. Time to change that and many Logic users would be thankful :-)

Yea word yo.
The people are gonna rise up and revolt if you moderators don't listen up and change things! i mean how hard is it to add an extra forum that says LOGIC AUDIO.

The logic community has been held back for too long!

LOGIC, LOGIC, LOGIC, LOGIC, LOGIC, LOGIC, LOGIC, LOGIC, !!!!
