sounds pretty good to me. i might be nitpicking but the snare sounds a little flabby or something, like it could be a little brighter

..ask the guit' player to take some breaths? :) (context :)

Were these live date tracks where you have mono or original fx and panning options?
I'm just on phones here so these are cautious comments.. Seems like the kit and some of the effects could be opened up some, maybe let some of the dry poke through more? Again, if even thoses are options.
Voice is cool. :)

Thanks for the feedback, I'll take another listen to it.
It's an unusual snare with wood hoops instead of the customary steel.
Makes for a darker sound for sure.

You wouldn't believe how many times I've asked him to chill......but you know, he's young & dumb and full of come. I'm trying to do it without breaking his spirit.:)

Yes they are live tracks, I have any option available to me except for getting rid of some minor stage bleed.

The guitar FX are what they are......another thing I'm trying to adjust.
As far as the kit and the other effects go, could you help me out here?
Do I need to pan the drums a little wider? A little more dry in the the drum & vocal fx?

By the way, thanks for the constructive help from you both.

The things that stood out to me is the snare tone and the overall FX levels and style, adding up to the medium room/ballroom feel. But again, a) I'm slightly alergic (too much club exposure..:) and this is a taste thing after all, and b) not knowing what the source tones are.
It'd be interesting to hear it a bit dryer, less effected -or perhaps less of the close refection' slap stuff/more predelay or what ever to let the band's natural tones sit in front of the room' more ..if posible, and go after the snare -forward, mid range (compressed?) bop'. I can hear the kick (sorta) but can it support the kit better?
That's a bunch, but well intended. :) Hope I didn't overstay my welcome..
