I wrote some film music for a trailer that I'm making all the sound and music for. It's just for practice for school. It's for the trailer from the game Guild Wars. Hope you like it!

PS: Turn up your monitors, it's a very dynamic piece!

Really nice piece of music. Maybe a little short but if it's only for a trailer it's probably alright. Nice work. Are you using Halion for this? I noticed your name when I posted.

I like the piece. The ending drums dispersed throughout would be cool.

Actually, it's not done yet, it's only half of the trailer. The end product will be little over 1 minute.

No I didn't use Halion (I just like that word ;)). I used Edirol Orchestral for the strings and Timpanis and orchestral bassdrum, and I used Drumkit from Hell 2's toms layered with the timpanis and some highly filtered kicks underneath in the percussion part.

Sounds really good so far. I'm getting into Edirol Orchestra myself, so this has served as a bit of inspiration for me.

Very cool! Do you get to play with 7.1 surround too?

Thanks guys. No surround for me, I'm busy enough with stereo as it is :)

Well done. I really enjoyed the listen. Thanks for sharing.

It's hard to evaluate film score without a visual component. The sounds are pretty cool.
