TASTY....excellent musicians...Faultline my fave, the guitar riffs in a rap thingy worked big time for me......dug the reggae tune too...for some reason funkified wouldn't download, but I'll try later...y'all have a really a great sound going on...incredible, actually, with 4-track, SB and soundforge...just goes to show sometimes a 3 piece band can get it done...you need to get yer stuff up on a site that will let you have longer versions...if only for us here at homerec...free sites like idrive, juston, etc....good stuff....gibs

Thanks Mr. gibs!

That session was at the end of two months worth of friday night jams/recordings and for some reason it came out a lot better than the others. Meby ill try to post some origianl stuff if its ok with the singer/songerwriter/guitar guy.

Ill look into that idrive thing too =)

Only listened to Reggae and Fault Line, so far. TOTALLY dig the drumming. The whole band sounds like they know what they're doing. Pretty good mix given the circumstances.

Thanks PG!

You are too kind. Im really intrested in this home recording thing. One step at a time i guess. Just got my AKGD112. w00t!

Checked 'em all out and looped them for a while and was somewhat bummed at the edits.
I wanted those jams to go on...
My only gripe was not hearing any reggae in that "reggae" piece, but you'll have that with labels applied by different folks.

I'm not much into the freebasejazzypsychadelicrock-thingy, so I just listened to the recordings. :p

The demo giveaway is that the drums are in mono, and that the rap on "Faultline" has very boxy echo to it. Sounds justlike a small badly dampened room, which I guess is just what it is, or? The drums is mixed to low, IMHO. Otherwise, I have nothing to pick on! :)

Earthlink must be bogged down or something because its taking forever to dl. Meby Ill try putting something out on that IDrive.

dstrawl, sorry about my newbie edits. I'd like to get a better sound card and software. Then well see what kind of damage I can really do. (doh!) And ya, originaly named Reggae because at first it struck me as having that type of feel, but notice the link to that song says "rock". Guess i forgot to rename the mp3.

regebro, I failed to mention that when we recorded from the 4 trak to the pc, the signal went thru a compressor and a Lexicon fx processer. Dennis (my guitar player) mostly set all levels. I pretty much just hit record and monitered the levels on the moniter. I swear Dennis played the lexicon like an instrument during the re-recording. Thats what you are hearing on the Faultline vocals and guitar.

Thx guys, Kap.
