Hey,
I'm starting up a small recording studio in my basement with a friend. Right now we're working on recording/micing guitar cab and getting awesome distortion tone. I have posted a clip of our recent guitar quality/tone. I would like serious feedback on the guitar, and if you could give me any ways to improve the sound, that would be awesome. The bass drum in the clip is fake, just so you know.

I think the guitar tone is nice. The distracting part is that it's not in time with the drums.
 
maybe it's just the fact that i'm in a strange mood today as i listen, but whilst i like the tone, i was still wanting a bit more gain, and a more 'cutting' sound on the lead guitar, IMO.
 
Tone sounds ok,..but,..I agree with what was said earlier. I cant get past the timing.
