linux software question

I'm not sure what's a good editing program for linux... I just read about audacity and some other free recording programs but are their any proffesional ones on the market that you'd recommend. I have experience with Mac's Logic pro so I guess something similar would be nice.

Agreed. Even better, if you ever end up on a Mac again, you'll be able to keep using the same software if you want....
