That's incredible! I may already have one of those apps around (be great if it worked on Mac and PC both). At worst, we can just put an index.html page on the CD and link all the pages on the CD from there, plus of course links to everyone's online page for updates, etc.
I know there's a way to make sure the audio CD portion doesn't get screwed up by this, either...it may take CD Architect though.

Something that might be useful in the liner notes would be maybe two or three lines of "constructive" critique gleaned from this BB. For example, my tune might look sort of like this...

As long as we keep it focus and paraphrased, it shouldn't be a problem with space. I think that would be helpful for people to have as notes. I've found that everyone of the critiques I have gotten have helped me understand what I've done wrong as well as right. What do you think, is that too much? We also owe it to Dragon to ask if that's ok with him.

There was some discussion of this in another thread.
I personally think that the best way to go about this is to include this data on the CD itself. That way you can write a freakin book if you wanted to, and it won't cost any extra for printing. In the CD jacket itself we would still have the important copyright & contact information and whatnot.
What do you think? I agree that it would be nice to hear from the artists on how they recorded, etc. This way we can write as much as we want.
Also, I could write a small application that would run when the CD is inserted (into a computer of course) such that it will be easy for those who aren't comfortable doing things the manual way.
I'm thinking HTML would be the easiest format for everyone.

To give credit where credit is due...I believe that Jon X thought that one up.
It should be fairly simple to do. In fact, an installation program would only have to create a shortcut to the index file. That's kinda silly though. Some good old fashioned INSTRUCTIONS should suffice
We'll have to make sure that the person(s) burning the CDs knows how to create "enhanced" disks or whatever they call them...and they'll have to be hybrid so mac users can fire em up too.
