Lightpipe?

I think I need a little help with the ADAT lightpipe. I have 1 LX20. I want to be able to record 16 tracks at once. I am in the process of building a PC for this reason. If I can find a soundcard that has 8 inputs as well as a Lightpipe will I be able to just use the ADAT a a transport medium and send in 16 tracks at once?

I realize this. What I want to be able to do is get a soundcard that has 8 1/4" inputs as well as an 8-channel lightpipe for a total of 16 ins. I don't know if a card exists with these specs that would allow for 16 tracks at once. Any help?

In a word, yes. Your software will let you assign ADAT ins to software tracks as well as analog ins to sofgtware tracks. No problemo.
