Lighting ideas?

I am planning to change the ceiling in my sound room this winter to make it a little more soundproof. I am therefore looking at some alternatives for lighting the room. It's a small room, only 13x16. But it has a low ceiling. When I'm done, it will probably be just over 7' so I'd prefer not having anything dangling from the ceiling, and I don't want to install recessed lighting as cutting holes in the ceiling will undue a lot of sound barrier benefits.

What other means have you seen used for lighting?
 
If you don't want anything recessed in the ceiling and the ceiling is too low to hang a light, I'd say wall sconces are a good alternative. I like something clean-lined and contemporary...
 
Track lighting from Home Depot or Lowes. Pretty cheap. LED lighting is great, doesn't burn too hot and creates nice, pale light.
