Stand Up Comity
Geet, I listened to the link that was your band, and I think it's a good recording, and well executed musically.
CyanJaguar said:geet73, you are truly stretching the definition of crap gear with your mc012 and krk and AT and what not, but I gave your band's tune a listen. Definitely very nicely recorded. And a nice song too. I really like the playing. The vocalist was not bad on that song at all.
I listened to a bit of the other two pieces and they have the same clear quality to them. Good job.

You did not list your gear so I am suspicious, but I like what I am hearing. THis is the type of music I love. SLightly melancholy, very melodic. Good music is good regardless of gear. Great job my friend.

You tracked that for them or?
That's not fair because none of the rest of us have that kind of talent!chrisharris said:Hey Cyan. My daughter recorded this one with a sb audigy and a $50 MXL 990. There was a preamp involved, but nothing special (dmp3).

I used some crappy cheap mics and a tascam 244. Stereo set as monitors. That's all.
