I was on the lava lamp for years before someone from the 21st century got me in touch with a good 12 step program. I did not realize how much the lava lamp had taken over my life until I was off it.

But don't you think I would have to go through the experience of having some before I can appreciate the situation of being without lava lamps again?? Maybe I could get myself some, keep them for about a week or two, then do your 12 step program and then I should feel real good, shouldn't I ?!? I am a little confused now...

My Lava Lamp Cooked Itself

It was such a good deal - One of the Behringer tube lamps...

No, seriously, the damn thing cooked the lava gunk. There's a little scorched spot on top of the yellow glob and it won't move around any more. Must be I left it on too long or something.

Humph. Maybe now I can get a red one.

Rats! I like them because you can choose whatever bulb. Mine are halogen and there's no making them dimmer. I'll have to look around.
